Carbon Calculator
The new carboncalc from Elkay is a simple but highly effective way of calculating energy usage and cost, both in terms of monetary cost and carbon emissions. It is a portable tool which allows specifiers, architects and even private homeowners to calculate the current energy consumption of a room and estimate the savings that can be achieved by installing Elkay energy management products.

The carboncalc works by answering a series of simple questions - for instance the number and wattage of lights in a room - and inputting the answers into the handheld device. From the information given, the Elkay carboncalc can calculate:

Existing annual electricity usage – in kWh
Existing annual emissions – in kg of CO2
New annual electricity usage if an Elkay energy management product is fitted – in kWh

Ceiling Mounted PIR
This pirtimer unit has been designed for ceiling mounting and includes spring fixing arms for quick and easy installation. This compact unit, once installed, sits flush mounted in the ceiling.

The ceilingmountpir is activated by the detection of moving body heat and has the added feature of a red indicator LED to signify when the timing has been re-triggered and the unit is in its final minute of operation. This intelligent unit provides variable timing selection from 2 minutes to 2 hours and the ceilingmountpir features a removable bezel for easy access to timing and lux adjustment when in situ. An internal light sensor will keep the lighting switched off when sufficient ambient light is available, therefore increasing potential energy saving.

PIR Timer
The pirtimer is a fully automatic device which controls various power loads through the detection of body heat. Activated by the detection of moving body heat, the lighting or power source will then stay on for a preset period of time. If body heat is no longer detected, the time period will elapse and the load will be switched off. An internal light sensor will keep the lighting switched off when sufficient ambient light is available, further increasing the energy saving potential of the pirtimer. The unit also has an override switch on the faceplate. By removing user interaction, the pirtimer has ultimate reliability, resulting in a “fit and forget” way of introducing active energy management.

Pneumatic Timer
The Columbus®timer is an easy to fit and cost effective way of automatically turning lighting off after a set period of time. Pushing the button switches the contacts and activates the time delay, which can be set at installation anywhere between 10 seconds and 10 minutes. The unit has normally open or change over contacts as standard and can be fitted to existing single gang switches, making it a perfect low cost energy saving solution in areas such as stairways and storerooms.

Pushbutton Timer
Stylish, electronic time delay switch for lighting and other power use, the pushbuttontimer can replace an existing switch to provide energy saving functionality by timing lighting and power sources off to avoid unnecessary power usage. This intelligent unit provides variable timing selection, with a backlit blue neon indicator ring aiding location in the dark. It also has the ability to latch back on to the mains power supply and reset in the event of a power cut. The one touch pushbuttontimer is available as 2 wire, 3 wire and slave switch options for multi-way applications.

Remote Timer
The remotetimer is suitable for use in inaccessible areas, such as stairwells and corridors, using remote slave activator switches to operate the timer. The unit has a blank faceplate and is therefore tamperproof. The remotetimer is designed for general purpose loads, which enables it to be used on a variety of applications from lighting through to heating and ventilation. On installation, timing delay can be set for periods of between 2 minutes and 2 hours and it is available as 3 wire options in white or chrome finish.

Touch Timer
The energysense touchtimer offers energy saving features at the lightest of touches. With the reliability of a fully electronic unit, with no mechanical moving parts, it has all the features of the Elkay pushbuttontimer unit with the additional benefit of tactile, feather light touch activation.
Variable timing selection, a backlit blue neon indicator ring and automatic reset are all part of this feature-packed device. It is also suitable for multi-way applications thanks to 2 wire, 3 wire and slave switch options.
